THE CAT THAT GOT THE CREAM

Following his Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) victory for $73K, Fintan 'easywithaces' Hand hasn't eased his foot off the gas even a little bit.

On Monday night (June 15) Hand bested the $530 Bounty Builder High Roller for $29K live on stream, showcasing a final table masterclass in running pure and playing great as he took down just about every available bounty.

While our eyes were glued to the drama on Twitch, there was some drama off-camera, too.

During the stream, Hand's cat Raphy had 'relieved itself' all over the bed while his partner Hannah was trying to sleep.

'H, I'm sorry the cat peed on the bed, but we just won loads of cash!' an excited Hand said after his victory. 'Does that make you feel better?'

'Not at all,' replied a sleepy Hannah.

First $530bb win of the year?

Go on then.

Raphy ruined the moment though the little shit. pic.twitter.com/sWJWG6JbnV

SPRAGGY'S ALL-DAY BENDER

Fintan isn't the only PokerStars Ambassador to have been putting in the work of late.

Benjamin 'Spraggy' Spragg has been steady on the Twitch grind, and even put in an all-day session on Thursday (June 11) that saw him start very early in the morning and play until the early morning hours.

During that time Spraggy final-table bubbled the $215 Thursday Thrill after a few funny encounters with streamer Patrick 'Egption' Tardif.

While that tournament didn't work out, Spraggy would provide some highlights elsewhere, particularly this fantastic call in the $55 Daily Marathon.Spraggy ended his long session with a third-place finish in the Bounty Builder $44.

3rd for $2,800 ish. GG

LIVE-STREAMED GRUDGE MATCH

What happened for James 'OP-Poker James' Mackenzie and online MTT grinder 'poker@luffyD' to dislike each other enough to set up a grudge match?

To be honest, we don't know. But we do know that the match was a lot of fun to watch.

The two decided to play 500 hands of $2/$5 on private heads-up PokerStars cash tables, and whoever ended the session in profit would win an extra $500 side-bet.

After an entertaining battle, Mackenzie came out on top. You can watch the whole stream below.

CHARLIE 'EPIPHANY77' CARREL – www.twitch.tv/epiphany77

If you don't know who Charlie 'Epiphany77' Carrel is by now, you haven't been paying attention.

Over the past five years, the British phenom has risen to the highest stakes and has enjoyed several seven-figure scores both live and online throughout his career, including a win in the SCOOP Main Event for $1.2M.

When we spoke to Carrel last year he told us about taking time away from poker to set up a charity. He's also been streaming a lot on Twitch though and is attempting a bankroll challenge at the micro stakes.

If you tune in to his streams you're guaranteed to learn a few things.

LUKAS 'ROBINPOKER' ROBINSON – www.twitch.tv/RobinPoker

We mentioned Lukas 'RobinPoker' Robinson in last week's Tribune as his poker bingo streams caught our attention.

Now, Robinson–who is a member of Fintan Hand's TEAM ATB–thrust himself back into the spotlight this week with both a victory in an $11 8-Max event for $875 and a fourth-place finish in the Big $11 for $1,043, at the same time.

WHAT A STREAM…1st in an $11 for $875, 4th in the Big $11 for $1k & a 1800 raid from @EasyWithAces after his big win + one from @robinchipsttv. Best stream yet – still in shock pic.twitter.com/qTP84PTSCS

The Spraggy Show

We'd already seen Lex Veldhuis and Fintan Hand enjoy big final table streams and scores so far this Stadium Series.

On Wednesday night, it was Benjamin 'Spraggy' Spragg's turn in the spotlight.

They used to battle for pots in the Hot $5.50.
Tonight they'll play for $120,000

Having battled their way through the opening day, both Spraggy and Fintan returned for Day 2 of the $5,200 Heat 25-H yesterday (July 29), with the former third in chips and the latter ninth, respectively.

I AM CAROLE FUCKING BASKIN! pic.twitter.com/481y7EchLq

— Spraggy (@spraggy) July 28, 2020

Unfortunately for the lads and everyone watching, Twitch Poker was denied an undoubtedly massive event when Fintan busted in tenth place for $14,732, just missing out on the final table.

Spraggy would make it, though, and more than 30,000 people tuned in to watch him battle against some of the game's very best players, including Sam 'Str8$$$Homey' Greenwood and Mikita 'Fish2013' Badziakouski.

He was guaranteed a payday of at least $16,721. Not bad for a guy who was streaming 2c/5c cash games for an audience of ten people four years ago.
After explaining his strategy to James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton in a pre-game interview alongside Fintan ('When you guys are watching the cards-up coverage, just remember, I'm just trying to ladder, baby. I'm staying out of trouble.')

That game plan didn't stop him from getting in the mix though, including what he himself claims might have been an ICM punt.

We then witnessed Spraggy ladder all the way to third place, having a short stack most of the time.

In the first hand following 'gordon0410' busted in fourth, Spraggy's tournament would also reach its conclusion.

Parker 'tonkaaaa' Talbot wins Stadium Series

If you were tuning in to the Stadium Series cards-up coverage over on the PokerStars Twitch channel, you'll have noticed former Twitch beast and all-round good guy Parker 'tonkaaaa' Talbot on commentary duties, railing his good friends Fintan and Spraggy.

Talbot was in a particularly good mood as the previous night (July 28) he emerged victorious in $2,100 Weekly Stadium Series High final for a massive $261,489 score.

To celebrate, Talbot then jumped on Fintan's stream and broke the news that he would be returning for one night of celebratory streaming this Friday (July 31).

You won't want to miss the return on TonkaaaaP on Twitch.

Head over to his channel and give it a follow so you'll know when he goes live.
